To ensure a comfortable working environment, we ask that you provide:

• Sole use of a private bedroom for rest and time off.
• Access to bathroom, laundry, and kitchen facilities.

Carers require access to suitable food and refreshments while living in the home. Many clients enjoy sharing meals with their carer, in which case the carer’s food is included in the weekly shopping. If you would prefer a different arrangement, we can discuss what will work best for you.

If a carer becomes unwell or needs time away, we help arrange suitable alternative care so support continues smoothly.

Our standard minimum booking is two weeks. However, we understand that flexibility is essential, and we can accommodate shorter bookings for holiday cover or respite care, tailored to your specific needs.

Our rigorous safer recruitment process ensures the highest quality of care. This includes:

• Comprehensive application forms and detailed background checks.
• Face-to-face interviews to assess suitability and experience.
• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
• Thorough verification of all professional references.
• A comprehensive induction and enhanced training before deployment.

At The Live In Care Company, we understand that your care needs are unique. That’s why we offer two distinct live-in care service options: our introductory service and our managed, regulated service. Both services offer professional, live-in care specialists working to provide care in the comfort and security of your own home.

Our introductory live in care service focuses on carefully matching families with high-quality experienced carers, helping ensure continuity, reassurance and a good fit from the outset. Managed live-in care offers a fully supported service with ongoing oversight from a dedicated Care Manager, including regular reviews and access to support whenever it is needed. This option is regulated by the Care Quality Commission and provides added reassurance through professional management.

Live-in care is suitable for a wide range of individuals. We provide live-in care for adults over 18 who:

• Live with complex care needs, including conditions such as brain or spinal injuries, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, dementia, or Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
• Would value companionship and a helping hand with everyday tasks.
• Are managing long-term health conditions that require ongoing support.
• Are in need of palliative or end-of-life care, with a focus on comfort, dignity, and emotional support.
• Feel isolated and would benefit from the presence of a consistent, caring companion.
• Need support with personal care and daily routines to continue living independently at home.
• Are looking for short-term respite care to allow family carers time to rest and recharge.
