Brain Injury Care Services
The Live in Care Company provides a better quality of life
for those with acquired brain injury through live-in care.
What is acquired brain injury?
An acquired brain injury (ABI) is damage to the brain which has happened after birth rather than as a congenital or genetic disorder. ABI may lead to problems with fatigue, cognition, emotions, behaviour, hormonal imbalances, memory and executive functions. These may lead to difficulties with planning and organisation, flexible thinking, problem-solving, motivation and more, all of which can be managed and alleviated by the presence of a live-in carer.
A live-in carer is often the perfect option for someone needing help with everything from companionship and socialising to personal care, cooking and housework. This is provided round the clock and without the worry of leaving the familiarity and comfort of home.
Whether you are a family member, case manager, or legal representative of the person requiring care, we have a number of highly-skilled, experienced and professional carers who will be able to step in quickly and efficiently to provide a high quality of service.

What causes acquired brain injury?
Brain Injury is usually the result of a blow to the head or body and can happen in almost any environment. While these often occur at work, while travelling or at home they can happen almost anywhere. Typically, events that cause brain injury are car accidents, falls from ladders or down stairs, violence, sports injuries and even explosions or combat injuries.
