I felt that they both needed my care and I want to be able to give that care and love to others. I go the extra mile to help, as if the clients were my own family.

Nolu started her work as a carer in a nursing home back in 2013 but she also has experience as a home care-worker and as a carer in residential homes. She has mainly worked with the elderly but has spent time caring for a child who was unable to speak. During her time as a carer she has undergone many training courses, including health and safety, fire safety, food hygiene, moving and handling, child protection, safeguarding, medication, HIV awareness, dementia, and infection control. She is adept at using all types of hoists and wheelchairs. Her main tasks as a live-in carer have included giving bed baths, showers, feeding, cooking, cleaning, shopping and assisting with dressing.
