This made me want to become a carer and offer others what I was able to offer my own family. I realised that I excelled at caring, since I am someone who is full of empathy. I like to provide my full attention to the person I am caring for, which is why I prefer live-in work to residential work, since it is possible to provide that one-to-one care.

I love to do crosswords, to travel, swim and to cook. Recently I have started getting into cooking Thai food but I can cook almost anything since I owned a catering company for 10 years.

Annmarie has worked in live-in care for over 10 years and has more extensive experience within both residential and community settings. She enjoys live-in care because it allows her the opportunity to provide one-to-one care with her clients, providing her full attention to them. She works with the aim to provide her clients with a better quality of life and to always uphold her client’s and their family’s wishes.

She has worked with many different clients and conditions, including MS, Parkinson’s Disease, Brain injuries, Stroke and Dementia. She has a range of skills that cover personal care, assistance with mobility, end of life care and household duties.

Annmarie is trustworthy and kind, she provides her clients with first rate care and has a huge sense of pride and honour in doing so. She goes above and beyond to help her clients and nothing seems to be too much trouble.
