What is the difference between Introductory live-in care and Managed live-in care?
Both options offer exceptional levels of care and support, and we will help you to choose the right option for you.
Introductory live-in care means that we’ll match you to freelance carers from within our carer team that meet your needs. We will gain a full understanding of your requirements and then match you to appropriate carers. After all, one of our lovely carers will be moving into your home so it’s our job to provide the right person for you. Elderly live-in care, or indeed, live-in care for any age is a truly personal decision and we’ll help make that decision easier for you by getting to know you and your needs and preferences. Once a carer is chosen, the carer will be providing their service directly to you and we will support you to ensure continuity of care and to provide general support.
With Managed Live-in Care, we take care of everything. Our care manager will visit your home to conduct a thorough assessment and continue with regular check-ins. We’ll find the perfect carer for your needs, and then we’ll handle all the management, supervision, and monitoring of their work and your care plan. Your carer will be a direct employee of The Live in Care Company, giving you peace of mind. All you have to do is enjoy the comfort of 24/7 care at home, tailored precisely to your requirements. In England, our managed live-in care service is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

What is live-in care?
Both Introductory Live-in Care and Managed Live-in Care mean a specialist carer will move into your home, to meet your required needs.
Personal care
Remaining independent and maintaining personal appearances is important to everyone, our live-in carers will ensure that doesn’t have to change.
Overnight care
We know care needs don’t stop at the end of the working day, so if you need an overnight carer or 24 hour care we’ve got that covered.
Medication
Our live-in care specialists will help manage medications as part of their role, so you can rest assured nothing is being forgotten.
Incontinence care
Making yourself or your loved one feel comfortable and at ease in their own home is part and parcel of the role of our experienced and trained carers.
Respite care
